So excited to have so many projects happening down at BCT's Studio! Our latest original intergenerational play Just Right For Right Now is a clever devised piece with a cast of ten ranging in age from 9 - 92 years old, and was created through the asking of questions. The play touches on many topics including hope, divorce, dying, friendships, and playing. It's appropriate for kids 8-100!
BCT Company is cookin' with aspiring actors age 8 - 15 on Mondays, 4:00 - 6:00; and Tuesdays and Thursday, 4:00 - 6:00. Company offers students core training in the fundamentals of Acting, Voice, Movement, Improvisation, Playwrighting, and Creative Dramatics. Sessions run February - June. Registration is currently full in Company Classes.
BCT's Educational Outreach programs continue in the Bellingham school district. Drue, and BCT teachers Angela Mills-Watson and Jessika Houston are currently working with Lowell and Wade King students on Creative Dramatics, and an adaptation and full production of "The Bravo Town Musicians" (staged June 15th at 7:00 at Wade King). If you're a Principal or PTA Enrichment coordinator and would like BCT to come to your school, please contact us.
Registration is now happening for 2012 Summer Theatre Camp! BCT offers four wacky week-long summer camps for kids ages 8 - 16. July 2 - 27. Monday - Friday 12:00 - 5:00. We'll be OUTSIDE as much as possible! Week One: On Your Toes—Improvisational Games! Week Two: Random Acts & Sneaky Set-Ups. Week Three: The Dumbest Stories Ever Told! Week Four: "This is Not My Sandwich!" — An Original Musical. Tuition:$150 per camp. (Sign up for two or more camps: receive a $25 discount).

Registration for BCT’s original and wacky summer camps has already begun. When the sun shines in Bellingham, who wants to be inside? Campers meet for games, warm-ups, and “special theatrical assignments” each week. We liven up downtown and bus routes with clowning and flashmobs, we perform for picnickers in the park, and in the library lawn … all while learning theatre basics, making friends, and growing our imaginations!
