From the Director

Drue Robinson, Bellingham Children's Theatre Director/Founder

Thank you to so many of you who have filled up my heart with hugs and gestures of kindness after the sudden passing of my mother, Lois Fiege Robinson. Mom was the person who first introduced me to the theatre, and I had so many wonderful moments during my childhood acting on stage with her, as well as writing original roles for her to play in my intergenerational shows here at BCT. Mom played "Rummy" (an old fruitcake) in SKRooJE, The Fairy Sprite in How the Slug Stole Solstice, and a mysterious bag lady in When Angels Danced The Polka. She was quite an accomplished actor, and I miss her every day.

I am taking leave this summer from BCT in order to work on my mother's affairs, and to grieve. Look for updates on new happenings as Bellingham Children's Theatre opens its doors again in Fall 2014. Thank you BCT family, for your huge hearts and support! If you need to leave me a message, please contact me at

There is a vitality, a life force...
